Upgraded successfully, but I should use web interface for upgrading instead of tftp. TFTP seems not working since a few release. Has somebody the same problem?

I upgraded successfully through web interface, didn't try the tftp thingy.
But I have another problem. I get stuck in the upgraded webinterface really often. For Example when I try to add some port ranges and I click on "add" or "save" then I get stuck every second or third time and I have to reboot my router.
    Somebody else experienced this problem?

Yes. It happens for me when I try to add services in the QOS page.

DHCP clients still aren't listed. Someone else already created a new ticket.

eMule iONiix UPnP stopped working, and the "Internet Connection" icon under Network Connetions is gone -- even after several hard resets.

    Can anyone confirm?

EDIT: For some reason, I had to reset the "wan_iface" variable to make it work.

TFTP (in dd-wrt) was removed to save memory because it's useless for most people (BrainSlayer said that when WRT is working fine, flashing via web interface is safer and in case of debricking you can always use tftp from the bootloader)

TFTP (in dd-wrt) was removed to save memory ...
It may be not a wise decision since ver. > 03.12.2005. Not everyone know how to do pinshort or in case to shift over other firmware you must either downgrade to ver. 03.12.2005 or handle it by debricking procedure. It will be a little more complicated an necessary. I wish BrainSlayer add tftp back again.

The boot loader - boot wait - has TFTP. When it's loading the firmware after the boot wait, TFTP is disabled. So if you need to re-flash a partially hung up router, do so during the boot-wait period (first 30 sec after power up.).

there are other reasons for removing tftpd. i found a way to brick remotly a wrt with a running tftpd without knowing the password.

Could you also remove the entire /www directory now that the web server hosts versions of those pages that are hard-coded into the binary?

That would save 600-650 KB. :)

Sure this one is a good reason. Thanks Brainslayer.

There seems to be a problem with modifying the services in QOS tab. I can add a new service and it's listed in the popup where you can edit their names and port-ranges, but afterwards they're not available in the dropdown when you try to add those newly created entries.

I'm not quite sure, whether those QOS services settings are applied accordingly at all :???:

One more thing: regarding the flashing, I experienced to have the most success using the tftp-tool from Linksys, executing it very shortly after the 30 second reset.

This seems to work better in my case (I have a WRT54GS V4) than flashing over the administration-gui.

Just in case anyone finds this information useful....

I had the same issue on a v4. I had to roll back a few versions because of it.
