new user registration problems

    I registered as a new user but never received the confirmation email with the account activation URL. Is there some way to retry this? If I try to reregister with the same nickname, I get a "nickname already in use" error. Similarly if I try to register with a different nickname and the same email address, so I don't think this was just a typo in my email.

    I have resent the activation email.

    no luck

    It looks like something -- perhaps comcast's spam filter? -- is eating the email. I was able to successfully register using a different nickname (SteveTarr) and my work email address. Go ahead and delete the level2 entry from the database if you wish, or let me know if you'd like to try to debug this issue further.
