I brought the WAG54GS from Comet at a simdgen under £68 which was one of the cheapest out there... also £16 cheaper than pcworld.

Anyway I got the thing working fairly easily. Quite happy with it's overall performance & much easier to set up than the Father-in Laws Belkin a few days later (no set-up disk... all online)

Only one real question at the moment... the signal strength ain't brillaint... we have an excellent Acoustic Energy wi-fi internet radio & the signal is pretty poor an it's only a couple of rooms away from the modem... can I buy a bigger ariel/booster... I have looked but can't seem to disconnect the ariel that came with the modem... It looks similar to a BNC style connection... it will rotate almost 90 degrees but will not release!

Any help... cheers & Happy Christmas.
