I have an AP client about 2km away from my AP. I noticed the WiFi signal is better late at night than day time. Could someone enlighten me on why this is the case please. Does it has some thing to do with the sun? Signal don't get better immediately after sunset. It get better only late at night until early morning.

The ionosphere bends signals best at night because the Sun is no longer ionizing the atmosphere then, therefor signal level is increased.

Well this is true for conventional radio anyways.
