Hello, i just received a Nighthawk AC2100 to replace my aging and problematic linksys e3200, and i have been looking to see if there is tomato support for this model.

I tried searching around on this site and google, etc. and it seems like its not mentioned. I'm hoping because its a new model and not because its an unusual one.... any insight appreciated thanks!

excellent find, and thank-you for the help! - but many expletives as well :)

I love tomato, so that's a bummer...but right now i'm using it as an AP only so i might be able to live with it.

Still doesn't mean you can look into the openwrt community maybe someone is developing on this model?

Thanks again! I will watch - it looks like the only thread i can find mentioning it for openwrt indicates a wait for a driver to be available is holding it back. I haven't looked deeply into dd-wrt, but it does not appear they are supporting it either. I'd prefer not to go back that way if i could in any event....

Unfortunately this is almost exactly the same situation i stumbled into with the E3200's until Shibby began supporting the 5ghz driver it used.

i may wait for a deal on another more mainstream router and pass this one along to someone in the future if the need comes.
