    Hello everybody,

I am using TomatoUSB-VPN version. It is working great and all my routers are very stable with this version.

When I am connected to my vpn, and I download a torrent, I cannot get any incoming connections to my Deluge torrent client.

When I am connected to the router normally (wifi connection/no vpn), my port forwarding works perfectly and incoming connections to the torrent client are allowed.

I tried forwarding the same incoming port for my torrent client using my vpn ip, (i.e., forward port 61412 both tcp/udp for ip 10.8.0.x), but it didn't work.

Download speeds are pretty slow when connected to the vpn and are much faster when connected to the router normally (wifi connection).

Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to allow incoming connections through the vpn to the torrent client?

    Thanks, Brookie

PS: using Ubuntu 10.04, Deluge 3.5, WRT54GS 2.2/Tomato Firmware v1.28.8754 ND vpn3.6. I can include router openvpn server and client settings if needed, but like I said; the vpn is working and stable. I googled the crap out of this but could not find a solution.

So nobody torrents through a vpn? Ddoes this defeat the purpose of using a vpn in the first place? I am sick as a dog this weekend; homebound so I setup a squid server, and forcing firefox through the proxy server and vpn. We will never be truly anonymous but it has been fun.
