Okie Dokie, just got my Linksys WRT54G V4 router and am having a little bit of trouble and cannot find a cause or a solution.

If i take the router out of the loop i can goto and get a good 4mbit/6mbit download going. IF i put the router back into the mix.. i can' gove over 2.3mbit.

    I'm using DD-WRT v23

I have the router configured with the factory settings, the only thing being different is that I am only putting out 4 IP's with DHCP and I have QoS enabled for Wired Port 1(thats my main) and its set to premium.

Other than that i'm not sure exactly what i'm missing.

What transfer speed did you set your QOS to up and down because if it's too low that could easily be the cause of the problem.

My connection is 8mbit down and 768k up so i set my QoS at 7400k down and 640k up.

And if you just dissable your QOS, do the speeds improve, even when you have the router connected?
