I just purchased the 5-port switch from Linksys. Added it to my 4-port wireless router from linksys (54wrgt) and then hooked up my nslu2 to the switch.

    to clarify my connections are:

    wall to cable modem
cable modem to 4port wireless router
    4portwireless router to 5port switch
    5port switch to NSLU2

I was surprised to find that the 100mbps light on the switch is not lighting up for the NSLU2. It's doing it for all the other computers hooked up to the switch.

Is there something wrong with my NSLU2 or is this normal?

Something's wrong with either your switch, the cable, or the port on your NSLU2. My router's port status page says my NSLU2 is connected at 100 Mbps Full.

    Which model switch? The EZXS55W?
