I've seen another standalone QoS packet optimizer similar to the Linksys OGV200... believe it was released by Belkin, but I'm not 100% sure about that. So are these QoS packet optimizers worth it when it comes to applications such as VoIP and Gaming? Do they really work?

This looks interesting, anyone have it?
    Does it work as advertised?
Does it make a big difference?

Yes, it's worth it and it's a great product.

I have a 10/1Mbps cable connection and normally, if I try to play a game or make a VoIP call while doing something else like uploading a file, the game would be unplayable and my voice will be broken and garbled to the person I'm talking to. After installing this network optimizer, I can upload files, transfer files over my VPN, play online games, make VoIP calls and use P2P software all at the same time and everything sounds, plays and runs perfect. This is a great product. I highly recommend it to anyone who does allot on the Internet.

It's also easy to setup. You just plug it in and away you go!

There are a number of products to chose from, of course, there is the Linksys OGV200 which is the one I have, the Hawking HBB1 and the D-Link DI-102.
