    Running Tomato 1.10 with OpenVPN.

Hi folks. I'm trying to get my Xbox Live (Xbox 360) to get passed all the nasties of my universities. (I.e. its blocked) I've got OpenVPN running on my computer, and what I need to do, is route ALL traffic from the Xbox 360 (connected to the router via ethernet) to the computer running OpenVPN.

Is that possible? The computer isnt running a OpenVPN server, its running an OpenVPN client. (I believe so anyway) Thanks in advance.

    add this to openvpn config
    push "redirect-gateway <tunnel destination ip>"
this will force all the data to go through the vpn tunnel so it will be encrypted.

Oh so its possible?! Oh thank you, thank you very much. So what exactly do I need to do, to set this all up. I'm gonna write some information, which I think might be useful:

IP Address of Laptop, which will be running OpenVPN: (This is what the Xbox 360 will need to connect to)

you need to set the gateway to the address of the tunnel in the server router.
but all communication will be routed through the tunnel by this action.

.. But how will the Laptop (running OpenVPN) connect to the internet, if the gateway its connecting to is its own IP?

the laptop wont be connecting to its own ip.. it'll be connecting to the router on the other end of the connection. (= i'm not sure if its required, but you might have to configure internet connection sharing on the openvpn tap adapter in order for the xbox to connect
