I'm getting a lot problems with the outlook pst located on the NSLU2 and outlook trying to access it. Messages from are related to corrupted file to file not closed properly. Has anyone else encountered this or know a workaround?

    NSLU2 FM: R72
    Disk 1 : Ext3
    Outlook version 2007

Only time I had an issue was when my .pst file got close to 2 gig and that was an Outlook issues....although I thought that with your version that should not be an issue.

Outlook is not intended to use a PST file stored on a network share. You risk corrupting your PST at worst. PST files are read/write intensive and I would assuming the NSLU just can't keep up.

BTW, the theoretical upper max is 10Gb but you have to extend the PST tables to achive this.

Careful with the outlook pst file, it really depends on the which version you have, I think pre outlook xp it was only suppose to be about 2GB though i have seen some close to 4 and still work. True though with the later versions size really is no longer a worry.

    NLSU2 + Outlook 2003

    Hello Guys,

I experienced the same kind of problem with .pst files.

    Outlook 2003 SP2
    Windows XP SP2

This is embarassing since I want to use the NLSU2 as file server.

I have upgraded MsOffice 2003 to SP3 now, just in case

Please keep me posted if a solution exist.
