Hi guys. I have a prob for an antenna noob. I have a Linksys WRT54G-V5 router, that i want to connect an outside range extender too. A few of the things i'm not sure of, is the type of threads for router antenna. I also wouldn't know what type of pigtail? i would need, and cable/antenna i should buy ( antenna under $100 ). With router inside bldg 1, sending signal to bldg 2, about 700' away. Right now, with router sitting inside, at bldg 1 window, i get 1 bar in bldg 2, using Linksys usb adapter. Would like to increase bars to at least 4-5, which i can get, if i put router outside, but living in Northeast, where temps right now, are in the single digits, router won't work, unless it's at least 50 degrees F, at least :)
