I have (4) wap54gpe's running in bridge mode from a main ap bridge that is also a wap54gpe. All new equipment, professionally installed, grounded, etc.

After a days work when traffic passes, the pingtimes suddenly go upwards of 3000ms, and loose packets. A reboot of the main AP will fix the problem, but only for a few hours.

Idle, they will run forever, it's only when the workday starts and traffic is passed, they start to do this.

Any ideas? Is there any third party firmware available for these, we have several more ready to be installed at this site once we can find out what is going on.

    Thank You,

    Same Issue

I have three of these installed in a warehouse, all with latest firmware. Wireless devices work fine for about 15 minutes then packets start to drop and the whole thing slows down for about 5 minutes then comes good again. According to the linksys support this product is no longer supported.

They don't support the product online. They haven't stopped making the WAP54GPE.
