I have enabled jffs on my router but when I write a file to the /jffs it disappears after a reboot.
I have also logged in via ssh, written a file to /jffs (which is the mount point for /dev/mtdblock/3 ). The file appears in the file structure fine but when I unmount /jffs and re-mount it the file is no longer there. Any ideas?

I'm not 100% sure which version of tomato is on it v1.14 (I think, I only have ssh access to the router so if someone could tell me how to determine the version from the command line I can confirm this).

when you log in via ssh it tells you!

    Tomato v1.14.1288
    BusyBox v1.9.0 (2008-01-16 05:01:48 PST) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
as to jffs, it works for me. On a previous rev I did once lose files, but fault was not repeatable, -> Via GUI enable jffs, format jffs, then save (button may have scrolled off bottom of page?)
