    Hi all,

Got myself a cheap ish wrt54gc the other week, and love it. However every time I have run Ping Plotter today the router has locked up and required a restart.

I can't get to web interface once this happens - only solution is restart.

Using p2p software is fine (i know they can often upset routers).

Am using the latest 1.04.5 firmware (am in the UK).

    Any thoughts?

Are you pinging the router or some other host? What happens if you manually ping the same host from the command line? I've never heard of pinging locking up a router.

Ping Plotter does a graphical version of tracert (shows each stage of the ping to the destination host, along with timings and host names for each stage).

The ping seems OK (for the few moments that the router is alive), but it never gets any of the host names resolved.

A continuous ping from DOS works fine, but tracert kills the router too (just tried it)!
Did get a few normal pings through after the router died and before I reset it - but only 1 in 3. web interface didn't respond at all.

    Very very odd.
