Ok so i currently am using a Linksys B Router BEFW11S4 and i have a Siemens Speedstream 4200 Modem from Sympatico Hi Speed.

I just recently bought a Linksys Wireless G Speed Booster Router (WRT54GS) and whenever i connect it to my Siemens Speedstream 4200 i keep getting a message "Aquiring Network Address" And it just stays there forever. Sometimes after that i get the Limited or No Connectivity Text. When I press repair on my network options it just goes to Renewing IP Address and doesn't move. Also when i go to the Command Prompt to enter a Static IP adress and it gives me my DNS address. All that it gives me is two of the same numbers.

Please help me to resolve this situation it has been frustrationg me alot. Thanks.

You may have a DHCP lease associated with your B router mac address at the ISP. You can get around this by using the mac address clone function in the wireless router and use the B router mac address. Once you have an IP address on the wireless you can renew the address using the wireless mac address. I had this same issue, and was up and running pretty fast. The other option would be to connect your wireless to your b router
