Does anyone else have port 34954 open on their router?

    Here is a snippet:

    #netstat -al
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State
    udp 0 0*

    Any idea what this is?

Well, it's bound to localhost:34954, so only the router can talk to itself on that port.

Grepping through the sources, the only occurrence of 34954 I could find was in wnas.c, where it is passed as an argument to the program "nas".

Someone else will have to fill in the rest of the details.

Ignore my previous post. The 34954 is in code that's commented out. Still suspicious, though, that this random number happens to be there.

    Edited at 6:30pm:

This URL seems to indicate that nas4not, which authenticates WDS links, uses this port to communicate to nas.

Since it is not publicly accessible, I won't worry about it, though I am still curious.
