Sure could use some of your wisdom. I have a video security program running as a server through wrt54g for internet transmission. The only way I could access the program remotely was to open the DMZ. It worked fine but got slammed with unwanted garbage. Could it be that the required ports are not open? If so, how do I find out what the right ports are? No info in the documentation and author/manufacturer not available. Is there a test program or procedure that will help identify the ports?

If you have Windows 2000 or XP download and run TCPView. Then access your camera and in the Process column in TCPVew find the program you use to access your camera. The number after the colon in the Remote Address column is the port your camera is listening on. :thumb:
