Hi - I am just wondering:

In various threads I will see people talk about adjusting the antennas on your router to improve the signal.

Are you supposed to point the antennas towards where your wireless laptop is? what if I have to wireless laptops at 2 ends of the house, and my router is in the middle of the house?

btw I just picked up a Linksys wrt300n which has the 2 antenna and 1 paddle. thx.

Position of the antennas does not really matter. However if you want to increase the range or distance of the wireless, you can put the router on the upper level of your home. If you want to decrease the range outside of your home, then you can put the router in the lowest level of your home. Even put it in the basement or cellar.
