Hi. I am a newbie here. This forum is awesome. Sorry if this post is in the wrong place. I'm not sure where to post it.

    I have a WHR-HP-G54 with Tomato 1.11. Tomato Rocks!

I work from home and log in to work through a corporate MSRA vpn connection. When I do that I cannot print to a printer attached to a netgear print server on my 192.168.x.x network. The only way to print is to disconnect my vpn connection which I cannot do sometimes.

Is there a way to configure tomato to allow me to print while logegd onto my corp vpn?

    Thanks everyone...

Well it sounds more like a computer/network set up then a tomato specific one.

    What are the 2 nets

Or are they the same? Also if all your traffic is shunted into the VPN by default thats a little different.

It probably is the network setup. And/or the vpn client. Split tunnelling, etc. I cannot change anything with the client. Just in case I thought maybe it is a router config issue like port forwarding, dmz? That is why I posted here.

My corp is on a 16.x.x.x network with internal of 192.168.1.x

I change my router at home to 192.168.7.x to prevent dual-nat.

Still cannot print unless I disconnect vpn.

I know that my corp VPN client has a port open to print to a local printserver for this very purpose. I had to set my printer IP to the IP address that they specified and it works great. You may ask around the IT dept. to see if they have something similar.

if you are using a HP printer their site has a driver that allows you to print to a locally LAN connected printer as well as be connected via VPN. file name is hpw_en.exe.
