Well i have new router, with latest Tomato on. Have one computer on wireless as a server (web page, ftp, ssh, vnc). Other computer is on cable connected with router. Problem is that I keep loosing my LAN connection. I cant connect via ftp or ssh, vnc and i cant even got on my web site. But the server computer stil can go on internet. So wireless is still working. And i other people can connect to my ftp. But at the same time I cant. If I restart router then is everything ok for some time. Even if i leave it, connection come back, but then goes away again. I searched the net but didnt find someone with the same problem. I have now both hooked on with cable and will see if connection will still drop. Just to remind you, server never loose wireless connection. Internet allways work. It just loose connection with my computer on network (LAN) so i cant log into server. Any ideas?

Are you sure that this port working in WRT54GL? Are you using it? On Tomato page dont say that Tomato ND is for WRT54GL too. I just don't wanna brick it.
I just have server on cable pluget into router, without wireless, and it worked fine for about 6 hours. So that's strange. Like something is vrong with wireless, but internet work ok all the time and other can access my ftp server. Just I cant cos sometimes work and then just stops.

How can I know that i installed ND version. Its looking like regular Tomato to me. Nothing is diferrent or new at least as I can see.
I didnt do "Clean NVRAM". Maybe that's why i dont see any changes. Well so far it's working ok for about 2 hours, so I wont touch it. If it will go down again ill Clean NVRAM and try again.

Yes, there won't be a visual difference. The only difference between the two, is that ND uses a N(ew) D(river) for wireless, and helps with some Intel wireless chipsets.

If you selected the ND firmware, then no need to question which one is installed, it'll be ND :).

Just use the "tomato-1.27-ND-8744.rar" version from the download page at the link I showed you and you'll be fine. You will know its installed when the version number in the about page ends with 8744.

After you install this the way I described in my earlier post, you won't have any issues. It worked wonders on my WRT54GL.
