Hi, I have RT-16N router. Every 3days router becomes unstable and loading internet pages is very slow but works.

I cant login to router over the browser, so I have to restart it. After that it works like a charm next 3 days.

I use 1.28.7497 VPN Nocat build...

    I use default options.

Do I have reflash router or use any other firmware?

My last question - do you recommend me to use shybby or toastman builds? I dont know which is better (the wiki page show some features)

Have you ERASED Nvram before and after you have updated program ?
Don't use saved configfile to restore your settings. Reconfigure by hand !!!
What build you choose is really doesn't matter all of them working very good, it depends of your needs.
Stability problem is often caused of low Nvram. Turn off Csats, Rstat, webmon and logging to test if that helps.

Yeah, I always erase NVRAM before and after update.

I dont use saved settings, always reconfigure after update by hand.

Now I would test Shibby mod if the problem persists... or can you recommend me any solution? This problem has started last week

If it worked OK before and suddenly started giving hiccups last week, then something there has clearly changed. You need to find out what it is, because it will probably strike no matter what version of Tomato you use. Monitoring memory / nvram space every few hours might help, as might running TOP in a telnet session. Not to mention the logs, do they show anything?
