I have multiple nslu2's running V23R76 and have been trying to get them to recognize a usb flash disk. the disk is a (cheap) A-Data 4 gig (have two) and originally I formatted them ext3 and then tried luck. The LED's on the front of the unit indicate detection but the web interface does not.

Any suggestions? Any brands of flash that work better?

I wanted to use the nslu2 and a wrt54gc & dyndns +openWRT (or unslung) to have a nice small traveling ftp server independent of my laptop..

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Put it in a computer, format as FAT or FAT32 and then in NSLU2. Try it...
