I am on the hunt for a new wireless router. Anybody have experience with the WRT54G3G for Verizon? Currently I have DSL, but hope to drop the land line in the near future. I like the idea behind the WRT54G3G having the slot for a Verizon portable broadband PC card and the WAN port. This way I do not have to make the jump all at one time and if Verizon doesn't work out I still could have DSL access. I need the LAN ports for my PC and network printer; and the wireless port for laptop, Wii, and other stuff.

Is the WRT54G3G for Verizon a good choice?
Do I need to look for any thing like versions to avoid?
    Is there a better choice?
