I am currently using Thibor 15c (considering moving to Tomato) and I am curious if the following is possible:

I am sharing my wifi with my neighbor. He asked politely and I didn't really feel like I could say no without straining our relationship. I'm a bandwidth hog, and while I'm happy for him to use my connection, I also don't want him eating up my bandwidth with all his torrent and p2p apps.

Is there a way for me to severely limit his upload and download speeds and TCP/UDP connections using Tomato?

I've tried using the script generator as well (via Thibor) and all it ever seens to do is limit his upload speed. I care more about his download speed.

    Thanks in advance.

there must b something wrong with your configuration of Script Generator ! Here in my house i limit the download-bandwidth with sg and it works perfect (with Tomato :). Limiting upload is done via QoS of Tomato. So recheck your settings/configuration and try again.

It is possible through the inbound limit settings in QOS... you could set the first rule on his mac or IP (setup a static dhcp for him) limit him that way and second rule for everyone else to have max inbound.
