i'm using the wrt54gl with the latest (1.28 beta) tomato firmware

    my link is 12Mb / 1Mb

when i have QoS enabled i cant have full download speed
(i can download in around 8Mb not 12Mb)
however when QoS disabled i can download at 1.3MB/s

    about CIFS :
i have two WinXP Home Edition computers at my network
both sharing directories and i can transfer files between them
i dont need any password and such

however when i try to use the CIFS client its does mount
the shared folder, however its fail to write there the bandwidth

any idea how to config CIFS with winXP home edition ?

    thanks in advance

Make sure the user ID you are mounting the CIFS share as actually has write permissions to the target folder (in XP). By default it will be read-only.

well its seems like the problem was that i used a share
which had a name longer than 12 chars
