QOS Facebook and all its little helpers.

Is there a way that facebook.com can be QOS'ed to limit the speed at which facebook data comes and goes. I would like to give that service a ceiling to keep the pipe available for other more useful things. Don't get me wrong, I use Facebook, but this particular network is not the place for it.

I have tried using facebook.com in the crawl QOS settings and that works to a certain point. As I continue testing it, when I view a friends photos area, it appears to be directed to IP addresses that don't resolve to a name and those connections use the www rule instead of the crawl rule. I also tried adding IP addresses but that would be a nightmare trying to collect all the IP ranges that facebook uses which may also catch false positives, guilty by association.

Access restriction appears to be all or nothing. If I put facebook.com$ in access, it is blocked completely with an error message. I would prefer not to have an error message, just painfully slow access.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks for your time.
