Question about ND

Discussion in 'Tomato Firmware' started by Deleted member 11230, Nov 20, 2008.

  1. Would the new driver work on my GS v1.1?
What are the advantages and disadvantages?

I definitely don’t want to brick this old beauty, but if I just wanted to go mainstream I would not have bought it to use with custom firmwares in the first place. :)

The GS 1.1 DOES support ND (but has no practical reason to do so unless you need it for stability with Intel mobile chipsets).

^^^ I was smoking crack when I wrote "does not" originally. I need more sleep. :)

  3. Are you sure about that? What routers do support it?

Too bad anyway, your thread was what made me wanting to try it, but of course I can still try Vegas without the new driver, it just seemed like something worth trying.

Why wouldn't the GS support it? I'm running it on a GL.

I'd like to know more about this "new driver". I have a WRT54GS 2.0 running Tomato 1.22 currently, and I've used the new driver once and had issues. I'm hearding all this talk about it... What's different about it than the old driver?

Edited my grossly-incorrect reply above. Apologies for the stupidity.
