    Please pardon if it's been covered previously.

    I saw that Der Brainslayer has posted a new set of files for download. One being for VOIP. I have a WRT54GS CGN1 and use Xten Sip Phone software. Will the 14.11.05-dd-wrt.v23.voip_beta2 help me at all or is it only a benefit to hardware Sip?

    I tryed 11/11 set and it scared the crap out of me. Very unstable. I went from hyperwrt to 11/11 mini to 11/11 std. Was very unstable, losing dsl connection etc. I did Hard Boot in between & after.

    If I do try 14/11 I will;
    Hard boot
    load in 14/11 mini via web
    Hard boot
    Load in 14/11 voip via Telnet
    Hard reboot

    Is this correct or over kill?

    It's ok, before and after flashing new firmware, you should do a 'Restore Factory Defaults'.

    And i think it's better to do it over kill than forget one time and the router is unstable..

    Thanks! Bet by not setting back to Factory Defaults made for the unstability using 11/11.

    I'm still not sure if I should use the voip bin for my software only voip use. Perhaps only need the Mini bin.
