i have two problems with the quick vpn tool:

    1) the laptop which connects to the router (rv042) is behind a pc with Internet connection sharing (ICS). Which service (ports) do i have to open so that the laptop is able to communicate with the router. I added port 500 upd but it seems not to be enough. The Quick vpn tool hangs when verifying network.

    2) The pc which shares the internetconnection has Norton Internetsecurity installed. Only when i disable the firewall the connection comes up. If the firewall is on the quick vpn client hangs also when verifying network. What do i have to do to connect with running firewall.

try also 443 or 60443 which every your system uses.

As Toxic mentioned, adding those two ports to your firewall should get you through. Always keep in mind that if quickvpn isn't communicating "but" can connect with the firewall down, it most likely points to the ports not being opened in your firewall's routing tables...

I also tried to connect the tunnel with ICS activ on the pc. But once i make ICS on the client hangs on verifying network.
What does ICS do that i can't connect with the quick vpn client?
