I'm looking after three remote offices and so I bought 3 WRV200's for that. I've had the first for a while and could connect via VPN with it ok. When I installed #2 and #3, I generated a unique key for each and put the public keys into my laptop "c:\program files\linksys\linksys vpn client" folder. Interestingly, now #2 is the only machine I can get to work. I've noticed that alphabetically sorted #1's key is last because it was generated in december, while #2 is first since it was generated on the 3rd of Jan and #3 was generated on the 10th. Can QuickVPN only have one key in the folder? Will a newer version allow one to associate a key with the specific profile? Maybe one solution is to use the same private key on all three?
Another thing: I also happen to have the Cisco VPN client which seems to work real well, especially since it uses a virtual NIC to communicate over. Is there a way to use that client instead of QuickVPN? BTW I have port 443 forwarded which isn't a problem with QuickVPN, but might be with CiscoVPNClient?
