I'm running XWRT on a Netgear R700 and I recently upgraded to fiber services. Directly connected via Ethernet I hit my speed max, which is 500/500mbps.

When I try to achieve these speeds on an wireless 5 GHz ac connection, I only hit around 250~290mbps even when close to the router, but my upload speeds are near 500mbps wireless. Are there any settings that might be causing my download speed to cap at 300mbps? I haven't actually seen it break 300mbps for download speed, but the upload is healthy.

I've disabled QoS and made sure CTF & NAT Passthrough are enabled. Is there anything I can look for to try and see if I can break the download speed limit I'm hitting?
