I Have A Telefonica Amper Broadband Router. It Works Great On The Wired Connections But The Wireless Capability Is Poor Due To A Broken Ariel. I Have Bought A Linksys WRT54GL In Order To Hopefully Get A Wireless Signal Throughout My Home Again. I Want The Linksys To Connect To The Wired Connection On The Amper And Then To Broadcast An Internet Capable Wireless Signal. The Signal Strength Is Really Good but At The Minute All I Can Get Is A Local Area Connection With No Connection To The Internet.
2 Questions. 1. Is It Possible?? 2. How Do I Do It

Initial thought is the telefonica is also doing nat and is assigning the same lan range as the linksys. Change one or the other and it should be fine.

Is your connection WRT-LAN-port ----wired---- Amper-LAN-port? As ifican mentioned, only ONE of your devices should be the DHCP server - better to leave that on the Amper if it is already doing DHCP, and turn the DHCP server off on the WRT. Also, make sure the IP address of your WRT is not the same as the Amper (or any other device on your network).
