Rotating SSID and WPA Passphrase

    Okay, I think this is all related to the firmware issue that seems to be the topic of much discussion for the WAP54G v3. My SSID and WPA passphrase are changing everytime I go to the web admin page and look at the settings. Even as I go between pages, the settings change. I tried going to WEP, same situation. I have done multiple default resets, no effect. I have bricked the unit once and did a clean restore of v3.03. Save settings seems to only a temporary effect. I am going to try Linksys Support but wanted to see if anyone had any other ideas. This unit has a mind of it's own....and it's schizo! :eek:

    Okay, can I say how much I love those outsourced call centers (Not!) After walking through all the usual script driven steps tech support managed to help me brick my unit again. At that point they gave me a case number to return the unit. Once off the phone I was able to un-brick the unit and upgrade the firmware to v3.04. Same problem. I then go to the Linksys RMA site and try to enter the case number given to me. Of course, no such case number. I call tech support again to find out that the case number did not exist and whoever took the call did not record all the steps we went through to try and resolve the problem. Sooo... they try and start all over again. After several long, "Please hold for a minute sir" pauses they finally relent and give me a valid case number. Back the unit goes....
