Is there a way to save the restriction list onto CIFS to avoid wearing down the flash?

Also, how do you make the WRT act as a DNS server? I have managed to let it load an external list on CIFS and the entries are valid within the router (ie during busybox I can "ping custom_XXX" and it works) but when I try it on the LAN comps they have no effect. So far I have set the first DNS on the computers as the router and the router has my ISP's DNS server listed under Overview. Use Internal Caching DNS Forwarder and Use Received DNS With Static DNS are both ticked.
