router recommendations

    What is the tomato capable router to have these days? I bought the N66U a few years ago but seems to be losing it edge.

    I use an R7000 with tomato firmware (shibby 138) and it works good and also has good wireless range.

    I am still using an Asus RT-N16. It does not have AC, or dual-band, but it was inexpensive, and has been very reliable for me.
