I want to use a router in my warehouse to connect 2 computers to my network. I have a BEFSR41 router/switch. So i put the router out there plugged the wall connection to the "uplink" and the other 2 computers in the available ports. Both computers could access the internet but not the local domain which makes sense because they were in a different ip range. So i logged into the router, turned off DHCP and reset the router and rebooted the computer. This time i plugged the wall connection into one of the ports leaving "uplink" empty. I was assigned a local ip address and could see the other computers in my network and get mail but no internet. why would this be, from what i understand this is the way i should set it up but no matter how many release/renews, static or dynamic ip on the computers i cannot get them to the internet and there IP all does show the correct gateway.

Thank you for any help with this
