I am planning on using VOIP and changing router.

Except for the VOIP ATA, there will be 3 wired computer and 1 wireless computer connected to the router. I plan to use QoS(very important since I will use VOIP), uPNP port forwarding and DHCP. I hesitate between getting a WRT54G V.8 which would run DD-WRT Micro and WRT54GL that would run Tomato or DD-WRT standard. I've eard that QoS is better on Tomato for VOIP. Is it worth $20 more for what I will be using?

    Linksys WRT54G V.8 $ 48.87
    Flashed with DD-WRT Micro

    Linksys WRT54GL $ 69.54
Flashed with Tomato or DD-WRT Standard

REMEMBER - PRICE IS AN ISSUE: I would like to have my setup as stable as possible for as cheap as possible. If price was not a factor I would not be using VOIP at all. Please consider the price I wrote are the price I pay in $CAD, shipping and all taxes are included.

Off Topic: :) Jesus was sold for 30 pieces of silver...then, the one that sold Him felt that was not enough.

On Topic: Get the d**n 21 dollars and buy a GL. VOIP or not, think in future. You've got so many alternatives for a GL than a G v.8.0.

GL is stable, G v8 is not.
