Here is my situation. We have an ASA 5505 at work configured to support VPN clients to login. I am able to connect to the VPN with a Mac and use Cisco's CUPC software to make phone calls through the Mac. I happen to have an RV016 small business router and would like a point of direction to configure the RV016 at home to connect to the office through the VPN so I can either use the CUPC software on the computer or better yet physically add a 7941 IP phone to my home network and be able to make and receive phone calls.

Is it possible to connect an RV016 with an ASA 5505 using an IPSec based VPN? I have the IP address, tunnel name, preshared key as well as my personal username and password but I don't see similar fields in the RV016 VPN screens. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you just connect a VPN Tunnel between the two units., as to the BEFSX41 this is very limiting in speed. afaik the WAN-LAN speed cannot handle any faster than 10Mbs due to its age and chipset.
