I currently have RV042 running at the edge of my network, load-balancing two links. So far, I've had only one subnet running behind it - 10.168.5.x/24, and everything is working great.

However, I had a need to introduce another subnet into my network. The setup is as follows:

RV042 is connected to WRT54G, which serves as Wireless access point/WDS bridge. The second subnet I introduced,, is on the second WRT54G. Both WRT54Gs are running Sveasoft Talisman 1.2.3

RV042 has an IP address of
    WRT54G1 has IP of
WRT54G2 has IP of on the "main" VLAN
WRT54G2 has IP of on the second VLAN

Server that's plugged into VLAN2 has an IP of

I can freely ping/connect between the server( and any address on my 10.168.5.x subnet. I can login to RV042 and ping However, the server cannot get out to the Internet. How do I troubleshoot it. The only way I can think of is via packet sniffer, but how to I sniff packets on the RV042?

What else should I be looking at? Thanks a lot in advance.
