I have tried searching for this already talked about, and found a few references but have been unable to get any of them to work for what I am trying to do.

Has anyone sucessfuly setup a VPN connection to the RV line of routers using a client (Windows XP) to create the link and be able to plan LAN games (and other software that requires broadcast information) ??

    Thank you!

Windows own XP Client (IPSEC) is known not to work. try using the pptp VPN connection. it should work as long as you assign an IP range that is the same subnet as the LAN.

Using the PPTP (and windows xp vpn client, new connection wizard setup) I can access machines from the client to host network, but not the reverse... I have yet to try a game yet, but doubt it will work if I'm having issues with network shares.
