As my ISP blocks port 21, I try to nPnP forward external port 22 to the internal port 21 of my FTP server but without success. I can access the FTP server thru LAN and PPTP tunnel. I have already create an access rule in firewall to allow all WAN1 traffic going to my FTP. The incoming log shows followings:

    May 10 15:57:36 2006 Connection Accepted TCP> on ixp1

It stucks there and connection never establishes. I have already upgraded its firmware to version This new version already gives me trouble in VPN tunnel. I wonder if anyone have similar problems with nPnP forwarding with RV042. Is there any version of firmware confirmed working?

I specify my FTP client to use external port 22 and nPnp forward it to internal port 21 of my FTP server. What should I do with internal port 20? What external port should I use to substitute it? How can I tell my FTP client to use port whatever instead of port 20? I am confused here. Appreciate if you could give some more details. Thanks.
