    Hi -
    I upgraded my RV082 from to 1.3.2
Now I have an odd error - any time I check load balancing, and attempt to save the setting, I get "error on page" and the settings re not saved. If I select smart link backup, I can save the settings with either WAN1 or WAN2 selected.

Essentially, I can select either WAN as primary but I can not turn on load balancing...

Have you reset your router to factory defaults either with the GUI reset button or the hardware reset buttton since you upgraded firmware? You may need to reset and rebuild your settings from scratch rather than doing a backup restore.

Tried the reset to factory defaults, then rebuilt the config from scratch - no help. any attempt to save settings with load balance turned on results in "error on page".

clear your web browsers cache out. btw I would suggest also to upgrade to the v1.3.3.4 beta. available on our downloads.

not a cache issue - cleared it - not difference, also tried from a differnet machine on the LAN - same result, so I suspect a FW bug.

Re the beta fw- I prefer not to put beta FW in into what passes for my "production" environment. I also don't care for the reports of the beta not giving clients the router lan address as DNS server etc... I am not interested in being a tester, just was hoping released fw would function as advertised.

any one else seeing this problem?

The way I solved this problem

I also got the "error on page" message" when trying to save settings on the dual WAN page. I turns out that I had enabled two items under Network Service Detection: "Default gateway" and "Network Host". When I removed the checkmark in "Remote Host" and left checkmark in "Default gateway" I was able to save settings without any errors. This was done with the beta firmware obtained from Linksysinfo download area; but the error first appeared with the "official" firmware.

    Hope this helps

Since you have a new firmware installed, and you are having problems, did you restore back to factory defaults "as advertised" in troublehooting in Userguide?

Ah - so that's the issue. Thanks. This seems to be a bug. In smart backup mode one can pick more than one can still check off multiple methods to determine if the Wan is up, and one could pick multiple methods in earlier firmware in load balance mode. With 1.3.2 I get the error any time I have more than one method picked for either WAN line. Note that picking no (zero) methods, generates a dialog box that asks you to pick one.

    Must have gotten broken sometime.
