I have a RV082 that died on me yesterday. I reloaded a settings file from a different firmware (1.3.2) while the RV082 was running 1.6.3. After that it stopped responding and a factory reset using the reset button on the front didn't help. It constantly reset itself during bootup.
Using the info on howto recover a RV042 (http://www.linksysinfo.org/portal/forums/archive/index.php/t-33281.html)
I managed to get into the bootloader with telnet.
I uploaded the 1.3.2 firmware (I cut off the first 109 bytes as per the instructions) without trouble, but it didn't fix the problem.
I also tried uploading the firmware using the web-upload that appears on when the device is in 'rescue' mode. All firmware files I tried to upload on that page produced an error message with something like 'Bad file'.
As a last resort I decided to erase the conf files in the flash memory (sections 04 and 05). Erasing section 5 automatically erased section 6 (with the factory defaults on it, at least that was the name of the section when it was still there). Deleting the config sections made no difference at all, and the RV082 is still dead (except for the bootloader). :frown:
Can anyone send me the binary files of flash sections 2 to 6 from their RV082, so I can flash them? Or does anyone know of another way to revive my RV082? Any help would be appreciated.

Can anyone help? I really need the binary files for flash sections 05 and 06.
I have a text dump of the flash sections, but I have no way of converting them back to a binary file. Maybe someone can help me out converting the dump files back to bin files?
Help would be very much appreciated.
