    Hi Folks,

First posting. I've had an RV082 for a year, and I would consider my self fairly confident with networking and software development.

I purchased this router thinking it would be more reliable than the cheaper ones. Its great apart from one fairly major issue. I've got the lasted image installed.

The router is configured with a single internet interface and DMZ zone. The internet connection is connected to the output of a DLINK DSL0300T modem because I'm on an ADSL connection. The DLINK relays the DHCP to the RV082, so that I get my static IP and other details passed on directly to the RV082. I need this for port forwarding etc.

However, when working from home I noticed that my ssh connections disconnect every couple of hours. I also have problems with downloading large files, some 200Mb updates etc fail part way through. All my connections seem to get disconnected.

I know there isn't a problem with the ADSL, as I've verified this with other routers.

Its been a while since a played around with the problem, but I'm sure I managed to stop the problem by switching off the firewall in the config, turning off indivdually the other options didn't help.

Anyone seen similar problems? I realise there are various places where this goes wrong, and the DLINK might be the problem, but I just wanted to check?
