The notes refer to two different versions of the firmware.

"There are two firmware systems used by RV082. One is firmware v1.3.x which uses the newer Intel CSR1.2.2. The other is firmware v1.1.x which uses the original Intel CSR1.1."

What is Intel CSR? And how do I tell. Also, it looks like there is only one version of the firmware on the site.

Could someone help me out with an explaination.

Also... is it necessary to do a hard reset after flashing? Can I save the config in a file and reload it, or do I need to retype everything?

--BTW, what was the problem with booking a flight with US AIR?

    Thanks in advance.

The CSR is obviously some form of Module/Diver that is in the firmware.

    how do you tell?

either you have firmware version 1.3. or you have a firmware v1.1.x on the router. logon to the router and see what firmware version you have.

it is worth resetting as new features and fixes may not become available until the nvram is cleared and reloads the new firmwares default settings.

apparently it could not be accessed.
