RVS4000 feature request

    I'm not sure if this is the correct channel to do this, but the RVS4000's VPN functionality would be much improved if it accepted FQDN/User-FQDN as remote identifiers. This would be VERY useful in setting up access from mobile devices.

    Surely this can't be too hard to do! :wink:

    I picked this router because it was the only sensibly priced VPN router I could find that had a decent throughput for non-VPN traffic. Others peg out at less than the speed of my broadband connection. It is this very frustrating to find that the VPN functionality is so awkward to exploit because the DDNS functionality is still broken in 1.1.14.

    only one thing....this router does NOT provide the rated throughput...I am getting much less throughput than advertised. I am getting about 11 Mb/s when I was expecting 80 or so based on the specs.
