RVS4000 problems with UPnP

I'm still on the original firmware of 1.0.11

I've installed this at two sites, one of which served about 50 computers on a 6MBS cable connection.

We were seeing horrible web browsing performance. Individual elements were loading fast, but finishing the page would often stall. Hitting stop and then reload in the browser would often solve this.

I initially had assumed it was some routing issues at the ISP, and they did indeed have some for a few days.

However, when I just disabled the UPnP feature - all traffic improved IMMEDIATELY and SUBSTANTIALLY!

Has anyone with other firmware versions noticed this? I can only update firmware after hours when the users on not here.

I have the RVS4000 with 1.0.15, Just turned UPNP on for about 10 min and didn’t have a problem. Of course its only me on the network and it was only 10 min but you mite want to try the new FW.
