trying to get QuickVPN to connect from a laptop to the router.
I discovered that the laptop will not connect to the Router when I use the wireless connection at home but when I directly cable in to home router I can connect right away. The only clue to this problem is when I'm trying to connect via the wireless my wireless connection will drop and then reconnect. QuickVPN takes over your network connection and adds the LAN ip address of the remote router as a DNS server address.
I'm guessing this is causing the remote vpn router to think this is a new connection which would explain the error message unable to ping/connect to server. When I see this error message I can manually ping the server but the ongoing VPN connection will not see the server.

To simplify... when hardwired in QuickVPN works fine
when on wireless QuickVPN will not connect
