RVS4000 Static WAN Issue

    I've had 3 RVS4000 routers and taken back 2. With every Firmware available I experience a sudden drop in internet connection. Once the internet drops there is no way to reactivate. I use a static ip connected to a T1 line. I have 2 other routers (backups) configured to use my static T1 line, and both work fine. I have troubleshoot every imaginable link in the chain. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so... Is there a work around? I really like the router when it is working.

    Currently I am using the new 1.1.09 Firmware. After the Factory Default went *poof* I restored and upgraded.

    I've never experienced those problems. I'm not using a static wan ip though.

    After you upgraded to 1.1.09 you did reset to factory default right?

    Try using an UTP cable for your WAN-Port. Had the same issues with my connection and it worked just fine.
